Solitude1
Solitude I and II were developed during a two month period working in complete isolation at the Sunderland Paper Mill.
Solitude I explores the introspective solitary existence in which every passing thought is analysed. The suspended feathers represent the internal world and the nuances of each sharp, clear idea, frozen in time.
The view of the North East sea from the window provides an external world, a third dimension, desolate, vast, and empty.
