Solitude 2
Considering these different realities, I then created Solitude II; a private world of dreams and aspirations, of fantasies and memories, a world in which one is cocooned and protected.
The audience was invited to view this installation individually, to enter a private world where the lull of the sea whispered around the space so quietly that one was not sure whether it was real.
The pipes and their shadows reflected this sense of unreality, a pivot between perfect emotional balance, undisturbed and at peace with itself, and the sharp, crystal desolation of the harsh realities that surround.
